  • Do I need to make an appointment for grooming services in advance?
Yes, Pet Palace grooming services need an appointment to be made in advance, especially during holidays and weekends. Appointments may need to be booked several days ahead. However, we also offer walk-in services. For more details, please refer to our grooming webpage.
  • How often does my dog need grooming?
The frequency of grooming depends on the breed, hair type, and lifestyle of the dog. Generally, it is recommended that long-haired breeds be groomed every 3-5 weeks, while short-haired breeds may only need grooming every 5-7 weeks.
  • What preparations do I need to make before grooming my dog?
Before grooming, ensure your dog has had plenty of exercise and has gone to the bathroom, so they are more relaxed during the grooming process. Additionally, if your dog has any special requirements or health issues, inform the groomer in advance.
  • Is my dog put into the suite during day time?
Not unless you request it as part of your dog’s routine. Your dog will enjoy all 8500 square feet of luxury here at Pet Palace. During the day, your dog will enjoy our outdoor area, with plenty of grass and pools for wading. At night, your dog will rest in complete comfort in one of our spacious guest suites. The only other time we may have to quarantine a dog is if he/she is reported having a contagious illness, which may spread to the other pups if not properly contained.
  • Can I check in on my dog?
Yes. Feel free to call during our regular business hours. We also take daily photos of all dogs that stay at Pet Palace . Visit our facebook, ins, and wechat on our social media to view our latest photos and see your dog having a ball.
  • What vaccinations do you require for my dog to stay here?
Typically, dogs need to have up-to-date vaccination records, including but not limited to rabies, DHPP (distemper, canine adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and Bordetella vaccines, and monthly flea and lice prevention as well.. Bring your vaccination paperwork at the time of your dog’s evaluation, or you can show the digital paperworks to the front desk. Expired paperwork will not be accepted and may cause rescheduling of evaluation.
